That's ma boat!

I discovered this classic old Herreshoff-designed 1968 Goldeneye in a shed. Herreshoff designed lots of famous J class and America's Cup boats way back when.

This one has not been in the water in decades - I bought her for a song and now have the pleasure of restoring her to former glory.

Any tips on restoring an old fibreglass boat welcome!







The yard is on the Costa del Cocaine and my visit there was made interesting by the appearance of a swarthy gentleman with an Uzi enquiring about a missing million dollars in cash that had gone missing from a nearby stash....

Looks superb , would love to see it fully restored , as a matter of interest what is the boat shown in the 3rd picture looks very much like a Fairey hull ?
