Interesting documentary about the Dublin Spitfire pilot and air ace found on RTE radio's archive website here.

Worth a listen I think. He is a bit of a hero of mine.

His Spit was the 1st Spitfire model I ever made.

Any idea where I could find a decal sheet with Finucane's markings. I'd love to do a 1/72 Spitfire in his colours.

Not sure about 1/72 but victory Productions do one in 1748

only downside is the sheets will make 40 model Spits.

Bret Green modelled Finuacre's plane with 245 Sqn, and used decal shett PD - 48-015 again 1/48 scale. But I can't find this in Google.

Failing that you could try generic sheets for the Sqn Codes for 65 or 245 Sqn and serials. Only problem would be the Shamrock.

You could try Paul at www.parkes682decals.piczo.com

As a one off sheet my be more economical that the VP one.
