Low C-130 over Basingstoke Yesterday

Happened to pop out of the office yesterday to see a C-130 ascending into the cloud... a work colleague seemed to think it could have come out of Odiham (wrong directon for Farnborough) do they have Hercs in there?

It's not a Hercules base but I'm sure the odd Herc drops in from time to time (Odiham is the home of the Chinook).

Thanks Eric, I knew about the Chinooks, did not know if Odiham still had a runway or not.. (mind you I guess that would not be a problem for a C130!)

I used to glide from there a few years back.

Had a low C130 over the house last night.
The combination of living under a military corridor that is FL40 to FL00 and normal FAF practice put him somewhere around 2 - 300 ft. Happens a lot and usually too quick to grab a video (especially when it's Mirages etc at the speed of heat).
