A while ago on here (1 year +) someone posted a link to a series of recorded physics lectures to a group of American students. From what I can remember, the recordings were quite old, possibly 70s / 80s, and the lecturer had an eastern European accent. There was about 10 lectures in the series, each a separate video, all about basic, fundamental (by uni standards) physics.

I left them open in a tab in my browser, thinking that I'd get round to watching them at some point. long story short - I've lost the link and cant find them again on youtube / google vids / PH search. Can anyone help with the name of the prof or links to the lectures?

haha, unfortunately not! Already got those (very good too)

one of his experiments was to drop a ball and shoot a ball from the same height at the same time to show that they both hit the deck at the same time. I can find videos of this on youtube, but not by the chap I'm looking for
