Season ticket weirdness
Discussion
At the risk of stating the obvious, but aren't there 7 days in a week and (up to) 31 days in a month?
Just because most commuters only use it 5 days a week or 20 days a month, doesn't mean the ticket is not available for use at the weekends.
Although on similar note, I have wondered why train companies don't offer "commuter" tickets that do only cover weekdays. Still I guess we are an easy target to make money from.
Not that I am bitter at just spending nearly £4k on my annual season ticket renewal........

Nope, standard anytime ticket.
That's why it seems weird, I've always thought more than 3 days validity was the point at which it was worth buying a season ticket. It's certainly the case for London tickets from my station (this is travelling the other way)
Must just be a local oddity.
