can u get season ticket refunds due to the snow?
Discussion
Rail companies should give a refund for the days lost due to no service. However there has to have been no service! If the service was just unreliable so you choose not to go they wont refund!
The difficult bit is applying for the refund as they aren't keen on refunding money! Some will have a refund form hidden deep on their website, others will expect you to apply on renewal. Best solution is to ask at your local ticket office.
Incidentially some rail companies (particularly Southern) operate Delay Repay which means that you can also claim for the days when the train was late, which I will be doing. Be interesting to see how much they pay out!
