Who's going to the show?

I'll probably be there in support of a recently completed Marina development in southern Spain, if anyone is interested in popping along for a chat about berth options.

Live next to it, Gibraltar. It looks pretty empty although I guess the summer might see that change. Interesting they called it Alcaidesa when it is in La Linea, why is that? I saw a half share in it for sale in a magazine a while back, was something like £20m yet they only have a 20 year licence from the Local Council. Seems odd to spend that kind of money developing and only get the ownership of it for 20 years?

Indeed but once you get there you know you are in a dump so why bother pretending it's somewhere else? Hardly going to get repeat business if you have to trick people into thinking they are somewhere else to get them to use it?

Actually, just reading about it. It's called Alcaidesa because it was built by the same company that developed Alcaidesa.

Well it should be an impressive facility when complete, with some competitive rates.

Like I said, feel free to come along to the stand and I can talk you through the development.

I work in Sotogrande a lot, and know quite a few people who berth their boats in Soto.

Pricing seems very competitive
