Correct me if i am wrong but my perception of speed plod law is asking/giving advice on

How so? Wasn't the Harrier due to be phased out by 2014 anyway? It's 40 year old technology, if we always waited this long to update out defence equipment we would have been using Spitfires to challenge Argentinian air-superiority over the Falklands.

Bit silly having two Harrier threads but I have to comment.

The Harrier GR9 is definitely not 40 year old technology.

thats like saying your computer is old tech because it sits in a box like they used 20 years ago to and has a graphics card, sound cars and usb ports.

All these things have been common for years.. does that mean things have not moved on?
