Potential Ejector Seat project

Ok folks it’s the New Year and I feel the need for new shed project.
Over the last few years I have seen ejector seats that have been turned into office chairs and have thought they look brill, but the £20k + cost of these chairs has just left me feeling annoyed.
Having examined a couple of these chairs I have come to the conclusion that I have both the technical skills and the tools to renovate and polish one myself.
So my questions to you more knowledgeable types on here is this. Where could I find, which is the best looking, and how much should I be prepared to pay for a decommissioned ejector seat?

Yep, the one in between the seats with the mannequins on them appears to be an F-104 C2 seat. I think they are quite hard to come by anyway so I'm not sure of how much success you would have getting hold of a doer-upper.
The earliest F-104 seats ejected downwards.....thats flippin crazy man!
Oh, and I don't think any of these things can really be described as 'comfortable'

The older american seats do seem to have more character about them. Same goes for the Russian seats in my opinion. I see they've had the cushions properly upholstered in the pic you've just posted. That's essential in my opinion. I guess places like cockpit fest and any other sites related to nose sections and aero memorabilia are where you should be aiming your search. I reckon it's quite an achievable job to do after getting it dipped to get rid of the paint.
