Liverpool boat show has been cancelled.

Bit of shame, it would have been easier for me to get to than Southampton but I guess after the recent London flop it was going to be a big risk.

What happened in London?

I've been out of the country, so haven't seen any news on this?

Boat shows have been dire for a few years now. Sad, but not surprising TBH. They've been onto us for aves to get us to exhibit but shows are so costly and there are so many these days, you can't attend them all.

Well, four years ago I tried to get a stand for a project I was involved in, they ignored a few requests, then said we had to go on a 'waiting list', then never got back to me at all.

If that's the way they treat other exhibitors, they need all the luck they can get.

What happened to the guy that reinvented earls court a couple of years ago? Did that go south too?

Yes, James Brooke organised it but it's been canned now. We went and it was VERY quiet! We ended up bowling in the alley with plastic glasses and fruit. He now runs a British Leisure Show.
