Thought you might like these photos from my visit today to the USS Midway in San Diego. Should you ever find yourself here, set aside a day to explore it as it's an amazing place!

I saw the Midway (from a distance) the last time I was in San Francisco which was a good few years ago now, but parked next to it was the Carl Vinson which absolutely dwarfed it. Would love to have a look round on my next visit

Great pictures, it's on my list of things to see.
The view from the bridge really does bring home the sheer size of her!
Though I guess trying to land a Tomcat at night, while the ship is rolling & rising it would appear no bigger than a postage stamp!
She still looks like she could do a job, reckon she can be jump started?
