Pulpit brackets (boat not church!)

I'd like to be able to hang the bow lines onto pulpit brackets, but they all seem designed for lifebelts and are too big and costly. Does anywhere make something like a simple metal hook that can be clamped to the rail, or has anyone improvised such a thing?

I did find a small clamp for holding rope but you'd need two hands to use it as it relied on an elastic loop.

Or in better PH tradition mtfu and tell the crew to sort her rope hanking skills and two half hitches over the rail or get off the boat.

Thanks for the links - most ruled out as they rely on twiddly elastic bits - I just want to hang and go... but the penultimate one might work, can't see from the picture. Thanks for the options.
