I visited my Dad a couple of weeks ago and in his cupboard was a tin of treacle he'd just opened. The date on it was 1998 but it doesn't seem to have done him any harm - he's 91.

Don't get rid of sell by dates.....I love yellow labels , they save me a fortune.

Dairy stuff goes straight in the bin. My guts are like a washing machine at the best of times.

Yep - really annoyed that some supermarkets now have yellow security tags on thier meat ... makes it really hard to spot the marked down items wink
