I'm an alky who is very carfel of getting pist, sometimes I do, most times I don't, I've found a bottle of the thread title & I'm wondering if it's gonna kill me or not?

I very much doubt a bottle of Hardys will kill you. Unless you insert it somewhere it isn't supposed to be. A 2001 should be nice, so enjoy it.
