Good resturant in Brighton

HI looking for a good restaurant in Brighton for some time over the weekend. Reasonably priced, all foods considered except fish (the Mrs is not a fish fan), something a little different would be good

the Drakes Hotel has a lovely bar and the restaurant menu looked really interesting, although i didnt eat when i stayed there.

I've organised a works do in Sept.
Going to Fishy Fishy one night, no good for you!
Other night is the Chili Pickle at My Hotel, supposed to be the business and the hotel has a cracking cocktail bar, might be worth a look.
