Chorizo - Am I going to die?

Marks and spencers 'chorizo extra' Display until/Use by 29 march, opened sometime at the beginning of April, been in the fridge ever since, seems to taste ok (quite nice actually, is it going to kill me (and do i really have to pull the skin off it to eat it)?

If not you may want to cook it...

I'm sure it'll be so cured by now it won't do you much harm. I'd use it in a risotto or ragu personally.

ETA: This is how I know that all lager tastes like copper sulphate solution...

Advice duly followed... it was very nice with pasta chopped tomatoes etc, I'll let you know if I die tomorrow.
