Marmite & associated recipes
Discussion
There's no dedicated thread to this and I feel it's warranted - What are your uses and associated recipes for it?
I'll start - I am a marmite fan. I have it incredibly thick on toast where I think the correct amount is just enough to burn the roof of your mouth coupled with a cooling cup of tea.
This is what I have on my desk at work:

I tend to see what I can add marmite to, to see what works, to name but a few:
Marmite in bolognese gives a slight extra tang
Marmite on chicken skin gives a nice taste and extra crunch
Marmite with Peanut butter is awesome
Marmite with Peanut butter, grilled with cheese is even better
And today I've just tried adding Marmite to a homemade salad dressing (Olive oil, vinegar, pepper and marmite) - It's good too...

Put some pasta on to boil
Melt a good spoonful of butter in a pan.
Add a heaped teaspoon of marmite to the butter and stir together.
Add a ladle full of the pasta water to the marmite/butter to emulsify.
Drain pasta
Pour over marmite butter mixture
Add grated parmasan.
It's awesome and my kids go mental for it.
