had this at a restaurant at the weekend (Nutters in Rochdale, excellent sunday lunch!)

The coffee was Tchibo Cafe Classic, but you can only buy in large quantities or on a contract via Tchibo reps

Does anyone happen to know where small amounts can be sourced from?

Tchibo are a German company who were on the UK High Street until a couple of years ago.
Maybe it's old stock, or they got it from Germany (where it's on pretty much every High Street) ?

They still sell to the catering sector. The restaurant did say they buy from their suppliers who don;t sell to joe public

Had a look at ebay.de (good idea) but shipping costs are silly

got to be some retailer/online shop selling this in the UK?

If its a german brand why not have a look in your local Lidl or Aldi.

thanks for the replies. Asda one is a different type of coffee (same brand) and the ebay ones are different too

has to be Tchibo Cafe Classic (Elegant)

Aldi & Lidl - great shout, I'll try those (shame the buggers dont have telephone numbers for their stores)

thanks again

My girlfriend worked for Tchibo up until last month as a rep, I will see if we have any in the garage. Do you need beans or ground?

If the restaurant buy in catering quantities, may be worth seeing if they'll sell you a smaller amount.

Sainsbury's used to have a Tchibo section in their large stores selling their coffees as well as a range of their non-food products.

I've searched & searched and the only place to buy Tchibo Cafe Classic Elegant (apart from ebay.Germany) is from Tchibo themselves and they will only supply min order of 16x500g bags for £60
