I know there are a few places in Leadenhall market to eat, any recommendations for a good place for lunch. I'm taking a client out on Friday so budget is circa 100 quid max.

I haven't eaten in Leadenhall market for a long time so can't really coment. However I had a late lunch in Rocket http://www.rocketrestaurants.co.uk/old-broad-stree... which is a short walk away and thought it was very nice.

Adriatico http://www.osteriarestaurants.co.uk/#/adriatico/ab... a short walk in the oposite direction is also very nice and reasonably priced. If you go for the HUGE pizzas you will not need a starter.

The tapas place in the middle, upstairs isn't bad - Ortega, from memory. Had a few lunches there - can get pretty busy though.

If you need to be *in* Leadenhall, then they are all a bit a much of a muchness, not that bad just noisy. Lunch with colleagues rather than business lunch.

If you don't mind a short walk then 1 Lombard Street is more "posh business lunch".

Alternatively, there are several places just east of LM in either Plant Place or the LUC building. Or north to Devonshire Square. The middle eastern place there is good.
