Kebab in Cheltenham

I've got to drop the Mrs off in Cheltenham tonight for a girly night out. I really fancy a decent Doner to take home and eat while I wait for her to come back pissed and compliant.

I've not lived in Cheltenham long, and don't know a decent kebab shop. Any recommendations?

I have not had one, but my mates go on about cotswald kebabs at the top of town.

Doh! Just had one from Marmaris in Pittville. OK, but not that special. I'll bear that in mind in future.

I used to live 2 mins walk from Marmaris in a flat on the Evesham Road...happy times!

During my uni days in Cheltenham we used to frequent the Istanbul Kebab House (name may have changed) at the rough end of lower high street, opposite The Frog...many a drunken kebabs bought from there!

Still there, apparently! A kebab's a bit of a nostalgic treat for me, and the Mrs doesn't go out without me very much, so it'll be a while before I get another one.
