Got there in the end though! So, I start my new "job" on Saturday morning. If anyone fancies a coffee or breakfast, lunch or dinner for that matter you know where I'll be.

Tonight I'm not cooking dinner, I'm going to let my head chef do the honors!

Menus change daily at the moment, they will settle a bit but at the moment everything is written up by 10AM when the kitchen team have got their deliveries in and been to the market.

This gives you an idea of the sort of evening menu, lunches are a much simpler affair.

I've seen your food.

And THAT is not at all expensive.

Very good luck!

Woah, congratulations. That looks like a great place, and a great project to sink your teeth into.

I wish you all the best. I live in the Far East, but visit the UK frequently, and now and again head to your neck of the woods - I've many friends in that area from my Officer Training at Dartmouth a great many moons ago. I'll certainly swing by - I'll let you know when!

Good luck..

Eta, I noticed the Great Grubb accommodation recommendation. I've also heard good things about it. Just an FYI; It's listed on your website as 'The Great Brubb'.

How much for delivery to Glasgow of Sea Bream, Brown Shrimp Risotto, Lobster Sauce? Sounds lovely - what bottled beers did you go with in the end?

ETA - ignore me, found the drinks menu on the website and it's cracking. Passing the link to the boss as he holidays down there quite often. I've never seen de koninck over here either, thats a nice pick.

Holy-Thread-Bump-Batman..... biggrin

Hi Tony,

Saw that you had posted in the "Photo of your dinner" thread recently, which got me thinking we hadn't heard from you in a while.

How are things going with the venture?

Not wanting to fanboy or owt but I do miss seeing your creations.

Hope alls well.

Matt

Sneaky look at the reviews suggests that the punters are very happy!
