I've been brewing beer from woodefords kits since Xmas. I've made about six brews and am using 2 x kegs so one for drinking and one conditioning. All have been fine (except some I tried to bottle so have given up on that idea, I prefer keg beer anyway)

I carry out the 1st fermentaion for about a week, conditioning in a keg in a spare bedroom for 2-3 weeks and then 4 weeks to drink it.

The last keg I put in the garage (stays much cooler than the spare room in summer) and left for 4 weeks. I've just drawn off a couple of pints, it hasn't cleared properly and whilst it is just drinkable I'm not enjoying it much frown

What could have gone wrong? Anything I can do to improve this brew?

Thanking you in anticipation beer

Surprised this hasnt had an answer - have you tried finings to 'settle' the brew? I cant explain why this brew differs from others in that it has 'loose sediment' but the sediment will alter the taste certainly...

Could the garage be too cool for it? We do a lot of cider and have found it doesn't like clearing in the shed but in the downstairs toilet it's perfect. Might be that the temperature is more constant or it just likes the tiles!

I think the garage is a fairly constant temp. I might try moving it and leaving it a bit longer.
