Dinner Tonight?
Discussion
Going round the gf's place tonight & i'm tasked with doing the cooking (i'm generally the chef anyway).
But she's ill, i'm not feeling great either.
I suggested a dirty kebab, but she's not keen.
I'm at the point where i'm too tired / ill to think of what to make.
It's going to involve a brief stop at the "super-market" on the way home.
I use this term lightly as her local supermarket is a Morrisons that's a load of s
te.
The only rules are:
Not a roast dinner.
Quick to make - sub 30-45mins & relatively cheap.
It's got to be made pretty much from scratch & it can't also involve fish.
Anything else is fine.
Thanks for helping me think

king hell, you don't ask for much do you? Cheap, quick, not fish and not a roast dinner or a kebab.
I'd go to a drive thru to be honest but seen as she'll only moan, get your arse to Morrisons and buy some chicken breast, some roasting bags and some ras al hanout from the spice aisle. Buy some peppers and onions and some posh flatbreads. Don't forget the soured cream
Cook it, you'll love it.

1 more question - where abouts in a supermarket are roasting bags?
Is Ras al hanout a spice? just bang it all in the roasting bag for 30mins?
Sorry for being demanding, my brain isn't working today

Roasting bags should be with tinfoil, cling film.
Ideal, cheers
I despise spending any amount of time ni our local Morrisons as it does'nt ever have anything & is run by a bunch of complete fecking cretins.
There's one "thing" that works there, that i can only describe as a hog.
It (i'm fairly sure it's a she, could also be a troll).
Has a face like an overweight trout & is the size of an over-weight prop foward from the local rugby team, regularly i've been on a till up from hers & you can see her massive fold of skin hanging out over the front & side of trousers as her clothes are too small.
Whilst shouting at customers & talking about her weekend to anyone who'll listen.
She is one of the many idiots who work there, for comical values, if she is working there tonight i'll try and get a photo.
Link to the spice mix - they sell that particular one in the main stores http://www.goodnessdirect.co.uk/cgi-local/frameset...
Roasting bags will be with cling film et al.
25 mins and rest for 7, add a couple of teaspoons along with some olive oil to the bag and rub together.
If you can't find the spice mix just buy a can of Stag.

Lozza, what happened?
Went down a treat
It was all going swimmingly until when pulling the bag out of the oven i split it & had to transfer boiling hot stuff to another bag, after that i forgot to put the oven gloves on and grabbed hold of the oven tray! (I'm putting that down to being ill).
The GF thought it was absolutely gorgeous & i like the fact i did'nt have to do any washing up really.
Good work mate, thanks very much!
Unfortunately the Morrisons Hog was'nt there but i'll take my phone next time i venture there!
The only modification i made was that they did'nt have any plain flat breads so i bought a cheese & tomato flat bread which was lovely heated up!
I now have to think of something for dinner tonight!
