Looking for a present for my Wife. WE like the technique used on masterchef where they have a small bowl filled with something, and drop food into this.

The food forms spheres in the solution, which can then be fished out and put onto a plate and served, giving a very strong flavour. The food keeps its shape on the plate

Any ideas? I'm hoping I can buy a kit. Thanks in advance

There's been a couple of threads on here about this - I think you can get "molecular gastronomy" kits (do a search - yes there seem to be a few) that also help you make foams, strange spaghetti etc.
