homemade burger without egg??

i wanted to make some burgers but weve got no eggs , will it work without?

any alternatives to bind it up

copious amounts of spit.

works fine without egg. roll in some onion salt and steak seasoning and lots of black pepper.

It'll work fine, I rarely bother with egg now to be honest.

Make it a little while in advance if you can - then pop in the fridge to firm it up. When you cook it, put in in the pan / on the BBQ or whatever and leave it alone rather than prodding it and turning it.

Was in the same position a while back, turned out well.
Using the Webber cook book tip, use fatty mince (if on BBQ) and put a bit of Soft cheese in the middle. Very tasty.

I've never put egg in my burgers and they've always come out just fine.

Adding salt helps bind a burger together. Too much salt will make it rubbery.

I use wafer thin ham as a binding methord just chop it up quite fine and bung it in sticks it together nicely.





Plus it adds more meat...... nom nom nom

That will work, high in salt.

Thinking about making burgers for dinner now.
