any tips for ribs in the oven
Discussion
I just put some in the oven, I'm trying a new technique today.
Usually I coat them in a dry rub, leave them overnight, then cook them for a few hours in a low oven while basting with BBQ sauce... then at the end turn the heat right up and baste them with BBQ sauce mixed with brown sugar. They end up crispy and tasty.
But today I didn't do the dry rub. I just cut the racks in half and coated them in BBQ sauce, then wrapped them in foil and put them in a medium oven. Going to let them cook for a couple of hours (I think the foil will keep in the moisture and make them even juicier), then at the end I'll unwrap and do the BBQ sauce & brown sugar thing again.
By the way, I can HIGHLY recommend Budweiser BBQ sauces, in particular the "original" and the "smokey" flavours. They really are amazing!
Oh and if you have racks and not individual ribs, then don't forget to remove the membrane from the back of the ribs before you start!
