Neck fillet?

Delia Smith's braised lamb with flageolets.

Billed as an 'autumn' dish, it's one of my favourite summer dishes, using the young beans, cherry tomatoes, savory, parsley etc which are in season now.

In which case, cube and marinade in the juice and zest of a lemon, olive oil, thyme, garlic and chilli and kebab it.

Grill needs to be hotter than the sun.

if its what i think it is, (neck fillet) i roll and tie then rub with olive oil, garlic, flakey salt, black pepper, lemon juice, honey, rosemary and thyme.

it then goes on the BBQ. Should be BBQd on the outside and rare in the middle. Leave it for a few mins then slice into fillets.

Yep, neck fillet of lamb makes THE best kebabs. We usually cut it up into kebab sized pieces and marinade it with olive oil, parsley, lots of onions, salt and pepper but the one above sounds delicious too. They don't need to cook for long and will be delicious and tender.

We used to always get ours from our local butcher in the Yorkshire Dales and it was perfect. I once tried buying some from Tesco's and it was not nearly as nice. Can't find it anywhere in Indiana. irked

Similar to MCs suggestion of kebabs but with a carribean twist.

Marinade (for between 4 and 24hrs) cubed neck fillet in a mix of molasses sugar, pineapple juice and a splash of vinegar.

Kebab with pineapple, banana, onion and peppers.

Reduce the marinade mixture until its sticky.

BBQ the kebabs and use the mixture to baste smile
