As above really, on expenses so needs to be about £20-25 for 2 courses ideally. Not too far from Waverley would be good as we're staying at the Dakota and going to train it in.

Thanks!

Not sure how much help this will be to you, as it's been about 10 years since we went, but the missus & me were visiting, just for a night.

Hopped in a taxi and asked for a nice Italian restaurant. Which is where he delivered us. It was around fringe week, and we were on a table next to Steven Berkoff.

Which was nice.

Google maps has reliably informed me that it is called Bar Napoli see what you reckon.

Go to The Dogs on Hanover Street. Was there tonight - £50 for 2 with a bottle of wine and was as great as ever. This is the menu we had.

Hadrians at the Balmoral. Might be slightly over budget but was excellent when we were there the other week.

Just been here for dinner tonight, really good food and not too busy either. I tried to get in last night but no luck so ended up in wetherspoons sadly but it was well worth the wait!
