Thought I'd take advantage of Dominos special offer for a pizza £9.99 delivered. Phoned up and just got some cock and bull story that their minimum delivery cost is £12.50. Thats in itself is fair enough but how do they get away with having this on their website??? Taking the piss or what? Its either £9.99 delivered or not at all, cheeky feckers. furious

You must have spoken to someone who didn't know what they're talking about, my local Dominos delivers the £9.99 offers.

Each Dominos is an independent franchise, thus there may be local variances.

See the little * in the advert? That will no doubt link to some terms and conditions that will state something along the lines of "at participating outlets"

Good luck with that, but I suspect the * will cover their ass.

Personaly I'd just seek out a local independent pizza place. You will get better pizza at better value.

Presumably their answer if pressed would simply be that yes, they will give you any pizza of any size for £9.99 delivered, but you'll need to add on some drinks or whatever to take the total order value over £12.50?

That asterix actually is stating that the pizza can either be from the menu or have a maximum of 4 toppings if create your own. As I said, he's spoken to someone who doesn't know what they're talking about.

Edit for st typing due to fat fingers from too many Dominos.

Yes, thats what they did... I've got a local takeaway doing one for £8.50 delivered, thats the last time I attempt to use Dominos, their normal pricing of £16.99 for a large one has got rediculous.

I would not make a fuss simply because if they cannot be bothered to bring you approx a quids worth of grub and take ten quid off you they are living on another planet.

I would bite your arm off.
