I certainly can't - struggle with a pint to be honest. How the hell can it be done so easily?

Hell NO.... I bought one for my brothers 21st birthday and we all tried it, no one got even close. That bubble at the bottom is a killer.

Good fun trying beer

Never tried, but it's only 1.4 litres so I think I could do that pretty easily. I can do a 1.5 litre bottle of diet coke with no trouble at all, and that's gassier than beer.

Several times and done the boot which has more kick when the bubble kicks.

The yard of ale trick is to slowly spin it when it gets to the bubble area and you should be fine.

I looked it up before I replied. It's 2.5 imperial pints = 1.4 litres.

Getting it down = no problem.

Keeping it down = not every time.

Don't be silly, you can't measure a quantity of liquid with a unit of linear distance.

Not wishing to start an argument but there are different sizes of yards-of-ales.

Have done.

Our chosen weapon was a Broom Handle, two Funnels, two tubes.
Capacity of each Funnel = 3 Pints.
And race.............

This guy looks handy (and I love how excited / chuffed his mate is !)

longer version and he pukes after that effort.

That was 25 years ago. I still burn with shame.

I have 2 funnels, one is a wide gauge 3.5 pinter, the other narrow gauge 4 pinter, with 2 metres of tube. They make an appearance several times a year, you'd be amazed how much people can drink from a funnel. Although it will come back up very quickly.

We used to daft things like this when i worked behind a bar, ive managed the yard a couple of time, its a lot easier with a light ale though, less fizz to burn your throat.

Another game we used to play involved running a hose pipe from the beer pump to your mouth and seeing how long you could last.

I've also got really bad memory's of downing a full bottle of rose wine, that didnt end well.
