I had done a couple of recipes from the book I recently got, but as I could not eat any of them I did not enter.
It is amazing how we use spices and stuff nowadays.
Either that or I just can't cook for 1940s toffee.
Good effort Ali, thought pixel was lacking imagination.

i can agree with that bacon stuff being revolting, spent two weeks in cuba last year, came home on new years day, the inlaws had 'bacon' butties ready on arrival as we were craving some good english comfort food, only to be greeted with that tripe.

I was never going to vote for myself - but it seems I can't vote for the other competitors either?

As a btw - thanks to the peeps that voted for me, but it was the worst meal I've ever had and was dutifully dumped in the trash can.

Midnight!!!!! dont think i will make it Ali. Been in the pub most of the day watching football and drinking.

Just ordered a dirty scots inspired munchky box from the local bab house though and theres a few more beers left in the fridge.

Might have to closed it in the morning if I fall asleep on the sofa.
