Give up and find a Maccie D's, there is no chance of you a,finding anywhere open to buy the necessary, or b, somewhere to eat it, macDonalds bacon/cheese is probably as close as you'll get.
You could always do what the rest of us do and enjoy a really good capuccino & brioche....
For Ref:
Eggs= Uova (scrambled= strapazzati, fried =occhio di bue, poached =in camicia)
Bacon= Pancetta
Sausage= salsiccia
Mushrooms= Funghi
Black Pud= Sanguinaccia
Beans= fagioli stufati
Tomatoes= Pomodori
Esselunga stock heinz beans and sometimes marmite!
(says she having just had a fabulous bacon sarnie)

Don't you just love the Brits abroad immersing themselves in the culture
Hey, i live here and have immersed myself in this culture enough. I'm just super hungry and craving a little piece of home, and this morning a brioche just wont cut the mustard.
Now my Bialetti tazzona has arrived I can now have the best of both worlds, Capuccino and a bacon sarnie for breakfast every morning!
I'm happy to send you bacon if you'll swap with a return of bialetti capsules

I empathise totally, I lived 18 years in Italy and the first thing I did when I came back to London last July was look for a bacon sarnie, but I lived in leyton and all the cafe's were Halal...I had to walk over a mile to find a bacon sandwich IN EAST LONDON.....

Brioche is French....The internationalisation of language means that many terms have been adpoted outside their endemic nations.....brioche, self service, taxi, weekend etc......
