Stock should fit the bill for the Italian.

Late night bar? Steer clear of Peter Street, maybe Restaurant Bar and Grill on John Dalton Street?

Mojos if you want loud and lively, will be a queue though.

I have decided to eat at the Living Room, which obviously is a late night bar to, but also looked at

Obsidian or Bijou

Thoughts?

Don Giovanni's?

Rosso, Rio Ferdinand's place?

You'll never go wrong with Piccolino.

Croma is a bit too 'pizza' really, but I quite like it.

Shame San Carlo is fully booked, definitely the place to go.

Piccolino or Don Giovanni - which is gonna impress a girl most?

I'd have to go with Don's, it's got a certain understated sophistication about it.

Piccolino. Don Giovanni is on Oxford Road (less 'attractive' area).

For late bar go to Australasia or The Alchemist (both a short walk).

I tried to book in at Australasia for food but it was fully booked, what goes on at night in the bar area? dj or live music?
Will have a look at The Alchemist to

Just a DJ but nothing overly intrusive. You should be able to book a table also (post food orders).

How about the other San Carlo, the Venetian tapas style opposite?

Not quite as flashy as the main restaurant, but good service, excellent grub as always, and the added bonus of sharing lots of little dishes....

I really wasn't impressed with the Living Room when I ate there.
