One of those rare things in life! I'm waiting to meet a mate, thought I'd buy a paper and pop into a pub here up North. The nearest one is terrible regarding real ale, what I like to drink, so I ordered a lager shandy.
The guy behind the bar explains how if I text a number with a review of the bar (Marston's) they are offering a free beer. Nice! Wasn't positive, but the first time I've gone into a pub alone, spent zero and left having had a beer.
