I'm in central Liverpool for a couple of nights next week. Anybody got any restaurant/eatery recommendations.

Open to all suggestions, from decent curry houses to Michelin-starred stuff (if such a thing exists in Liverpool).

Cheers in advance

You need to be more specific, I could give you a list of 100 places, from top end to the best greasy takeaways?

Drop me a PM, if you're there early next week then more than happy to buy you a pint and join you for a bite if you're in town on your own?

If you can get out of the town centre try Elif on Lark Lane for something a bit different.

There's plenty of places out that way if you don't mind a black cab.

T84, we could turn this into an impromptu PH meet...

Yeah, and 60 Hope Street.

But if you're there on your own it's not something you'd want to do.

If you give us a better idea of what you are after, then we can probably help more.

10 min trip through the tunnel in a car on 10 mins on a train gives you more options too.

If you like your real ale and don't mind slumming it http://www.visitwirral.com/foodanddrink/gallaghers...

Loads of options.

Cheers for the suggestions.

Appealling though a PH mini-meet sounds, I'm in town for a work thing and only see my colleagues once a year or so (we all work from home) - it'd probably be a bit rude to bugger off and leave them too it!

Not especially looking for something specific, just something good. "If you're in Liverpool, you must try..." - that sort of thing.
