Gentleman's relish
Discussion
Magic stuff, although it's very Marmite in that you'll love it or hate it.
I've got 2 variants, both Patum Pepperium ,one is termed Poacher's Relish, the other Angler's relish.
Former is based on salmon, the latter on smoked Mackerel. Not tried either before, so they will be getting a bashing over the season. I'me wondering if the Angler's will go well on toast along with a storming great cask strength Laphroaig.

I suspect any heavily peated malt would work. For strength, I'd try and hunt down a bottle of Port Charlotte 6. I've got 2 variants, both Patum Pepperium ,one is termed Poacher's Relish, the other Angler's relish.

Bruccladich remains the only Islay malt I've not tried aside the new distillery, Kilchoman? ....The problem with Brucc, is that they seems to do so many expressions, its hard to know where to start. So i've not bothered to confuse myself. Having said that, PC sounds a very good shout, sadly it's over £60 ...so beyond what I'm prepared to pay for any whisky.
