Hi Guys,
I'm looking to take the GF out for a nice meal in London for our anniversary, preferbaly to a more well known michelin starred place. Below are the 3 i'd really like to eat at, but can't decide between the 3! anyone got any experiences or votes for one?

Gordon Ramsay at Royal hospital road
LÁtelier de Joel Robochun
Le Gavroche

Thanks!

Cant go wrong with any of them, it depends on your taste in food and atmos.

If it were me, I would have a look at the menus online. My dates did not like the stuffier french themed places.

I would not visit any of them again, I prefer the single starred up and comings wink

Two replies and nobody's mentioned taking her up the Oxo Tower? Very disappointed.

Petrus.

Recently refurbished and consistantly the top rated in London.

One of Ramsays better restaurants.

The Ledbury is the best restaurant in London.

I like all of the OP's first three, but the Ledbury is some way ahead. Brett Graham is at the top of his game.

The Ledbury's atmosphere is perfectly balanced between what you'd expect of a 2* and the informality you'd expect from an Aussie chef and head sommelier. It's a very relaxed place, but with faultles execution.

The cheese waiter is very enthusiastic, he made the place for me - a really charming guy, knowledgeable and well worth spending time chatting to him.

The best thing is the truffle toast. It's extraordinary.

First time we went there, I was perusing the menu when next door's main arrived. I just said "want that".

Teh Ledbury is great....only thing is don't go too early. I had dinner there once with my wife at 7.00pm I think....it was very quiet until 8.00pm if I remember....too quiet. That may have changed as that was four or five years ago and when we've been since we've gone at 8.30 so no idea if it's still quiet then.

ahh i've booked for 7:30pm, as you might imagine, it's quite hard to get a table lately! Should be pretty busy though hopefully, as that was the last table for the day!
