Looking at the Emma Bridgewater plate/mugs etc. sets, but they are a bit 'done'. Anyone got any good recommendations for something similar?

PS - Obviously I am a real man and would be happy with a metal plate, but SWMBO wants some new stuff!

Denby makes nice quality stuff. But really, why are you asking on here for recommendations? Surely your missus should just go out and buy what she likes?

I bought 20x IKEA's cheapest plates, bowls etc. So far my girlfriend has managed to smash chip and gouge more than half.....

IKEA ime. Decent selection for not a huge amount of cash.

Another one for Ikea here.

Our current set is around a decade old and still going strong.

Thanks for the replies, we are going to get a nice set and just wanted to get other options we may not have thought of.

JL.

They keep their ranges forever so you can always get replacements for the broken / smashed / thrown ones.
Yep. Have got a load of the JL White range, and they're pretty decent.
