Transporting and Reheating a Turkey...
Discussion
here's our family tip to wrap it well that we have used for the last few years.
We generally try to have the turkey cooked by mid/late morning and take it out of the oven to rest.
It is then wrapped in tin foil and a couple of beach towels quite tightly and left to sit on the side while the oven is used for the veg and roasties.....
When it comes to unwrapping it later in the afternoon, it is still piping hot and nice and succulent having carried on steaming in its own little parcel.
Don't know if it would keep from the night before but it would definitely keep for 4-5 hours this way
