Stir Fried Shredded Chilli Beef (Recipe Required)

Anyone got a good method for cooking this at home?

I'm moved back to Australia, and can't find a takeaway that does this. So having to look at making my own.

Im in Aus too and this is my favourite dish, they do sell it but without the chilli and its bad.

To do it right, you need a deep fat fryer. Thin strips of beef coated in egg, dipped in flour seasoned with salt, pepper & chinese five spice, deep fried.

For the sauce, sugar, water, vinegar & tommy k. reduced in a pan. Finish the lot off in a wok with strips of carrot, chopped chilli & spring onion. Simples.

You dont really need a deep fat fryer, I do this and other similar Chinese dishes with two woks. One to deep fry in, one to stir fry in. Look on YouTube for a guide to deep frying.
