Parrot for Mr. Roper; it's after the witching hour, it's only 7 hours until you have to get back on the hamster wheel.

Just really struggling these days to go for a drink on a school night. Next day is murder. Getting old I guess. But I do agree that Sunday drinking has a certain appeal.

Not quite wink It ends with a curry on Monday night. Always have hot curry the night after a Sunday session....It's like a reward for making through the day.

I love drinking on a Sunday. Even now, as I sit at my desk with a hangover the approximate size of Wales …

I’m chain-drinking double espressos to stay awake and alert and I have no regrets whatsoever.

Me neither.

As for drinking on a Sunday night, it's no different from a MTWTF, if you know what I mean.

That would be <phwoaargh> Matt Baker </phwoaargh> on Countryfile.

By the time that's on, I'm well into a bottle of wine and leering at the telly.

It's become a bit of a winter fixture to meet our circle of friends in the village pub on Sunday afternoons for a few pints. It's a 14th Century coaching inn, so low ceilings, very cosy, open fire, very welcoming staff and Yorkshires and gravy on the bar.

Back home for dinner with a nice bottle of red, warm bath, watch a bit of telly then an early night.

I love Sundays cloud9
