Doesn't time fly?

Any good ideas for fillings for Tuesday?

Should we have a one off bonus cooking comp for pancakes in addition to the current competition?

Schlepped round Morrisons tonight, hoovering up the supplies & blow me if they haven't got a ready mixed choccy pancake batter in a squirty bottle.

Is nothing sacred?

At least that makes slightly more sense than the 'just add eggs and milk' packets of pancake mix.

hehe

Mmmm. Looks good.

I'm considering using Chinese pancakes for the main. Maybe as a starter. Is that allowed?

Pud will probably be classic suzette. I've used Limoncello as a twist before instead of Grande Marnier. Works well. The Meringue recipe above might be worth a go too.

Bstids,
Looking at changing my original menu and adding some FLARE, thinking 60s beige with tight waist and an open zip pic.

This was fun to make ans very tasty,
Spinich and Ricotta bake.

Money Shot.

Very messy to make (a lot of spoon licking) and very heavy.

Money Shot.

A great twist on pancake day.

Good stuff.

This thread was usurped somewhat, though.

I didn't take any pics in the end but had Cambodian beef with chilli, garlic and ginger then a pud of a classic Grande Marnier crepe.

For some reason the mrs looked at me very strangely when I rolled the following list of fillings into my pancakes:

Cheese (Strong cheddar)
Cheese and french's mustard wobble - but it worked!
Cheese and Capers
Cheese and Olives
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Oh, and Mushroom Risotto paperbag

Finished off with a traditional lemon and sugar soaked one for 'afters'. lick
