Got a shoulder of pork cheap so covered it in a Kentucky rub and started it slow cooking last night. House smelt awesome this morning. Now back from work and it's in for another four hours, but it smells soooo good. Permanent drooling!

Sounds excellent, let us know how it goes!

I regular roasted a boned pork leg joint on Sunday with bbq rub on it, was lovely, pulled off the crackling, which was a first for me. Had it with baked sweet potatoes, homemade coleslaw and grilled corn on the cob.

I did one on Sunday. Write up and pics in the slow cooker thread.

Pork sarnies for lunch every day this week!

Man alive! It pulled apart with two forks so easily. Served up with bbq baked beans, coleslaw and homemade french fries. Mrs S was pleasantly surprised!

Followed up with vanilla pancakes filled with banana and ice cream. Slept well last night!

May also have had the rest in a breakfast sandwich...
