Flour advice please

So just about to make some pancakes and just realised the plain flour i have has been pas it's 'best date' since October last year.

It looks, smells and tastes OK - will it be safe?

Perfectly safe. It's a "best before", not a "use by".

Here's a top tip - a 4 year old with an over active sense of help does not make a great help at all!

she covered the ceiling with green sauce in exactly the same manner

we had to repaint the ceiling !

I did exactly the same thing myself with spinach soup. Tell me, why is it always something green the kitchen gets splattered with?

Damn thing looked as though it had been attacked with ectoplasm.
