I can't say I have ever tried any sort of 'adventurous' foods, weirdest for me would probably be caviar...

I'm sure this is an area where PH can excel!

If anyone's eaten Surströmming, then they win by default.

I nearly boaked when I smelled it from about 10 feet away.

Something crispy yet unidentified in China. It tasted rotten and came back to haunt me that night in a variety of disgusting episodes. I can still remember the taste all too clearly yet the other people at the table seemed to enjoy it.

Try some Lutefisk, you'll be asking for seconds of Surstromming after that. It's kinda similar, but with added rancid.

Guinea Pig in Peru (basically pegged to a plate and roasted spread-eagled). The GP, not me!

Snake blood (milked from a live snake) in Vietnam (all very grim)

Puffer Fish in Japan

Dog in Vietnam

Chocolate covered insect things in Thailand

Monkey in The Gambia

Kangaroo in Aus

Some weird purple herring thing that one of my Noggie customers made me eat - absolutely vile, but a delicacy in Norway apparently

To be fair, none of it has been a patch on any of the weird and wonderful creations that can be picked up from the kebab van on the A339
