quality grinder required

we grind our own garam masala and have been using coffee grinders. trouble is they do not tend to last too long . do not mind paying for a really good one . one that springs to mind is the one that grinds up iphones on youtube. anything else i should try ?

Which model are you using at the moment? and what's your budget?

We threw the last one out a while back and I really do not have a functioning memory.
Quite flexible with he budget. I want a machine that just does the job without any problems. Let's say £200 tops , although I would be happy to spend half that. Unlikely as that might be

Hmm it's really difficult to reccomened something, you could buy an expensive coffee grinder but its not being used for its purpose. Sorry that's not much help.

I have never ground any coffee so I am not really sure but coriander seeds and cinnamon sticks cannot be tougher than coffee beans

But you say they dont tend to last too long - how long is that? And what breaks?

As a guess I would say the problem is more likely to be clogging up/over heating of the burrs or blades rather than not being sturdy enough.

Mostly fail due to a burning smell and then not working at all
