Free Starbucks latte on Wednesday 14th!

I noticed this offer on the starbucks website and thought it would be appropriate to share.

I'm not usually a fan of Starbucks as the filter coffee always tastes burnt, but a free latte is difficult to turn down.

I got mine @ 6.30 a.m when I got to work. Went out at 11 am and there were about 100 people in a queue.

And this is in Canary Wharf where you would like to think people wouldn't really need to queue for 45 mins for a 2 quid coffee.

I was getting out of the lift this morning and two lads from the office next to mine couldn't get in quickly enough. They both had their coats on and excitedly told me they were giving away free latte at Starbucks. Getting excited about free beer is one thing but milky coffee?!

Do I:

1. Run out, fight my way past chavs, hobos, charity muggers, ambulance chasers, people with wheely cases and people carrying Olympic flame coffees, then join a queue of ponces while watching other ponces sat posing with their MacBooks and get a poncy milky coffee in a paper cup.
2. Walk in the office, chuck my bag down, walk in the brew room, switch the kettle on, nick one of next door's tea bags, boiling water, splash of milk from their fridge and retire to my desk with a free steaming hot cup of refreshing heterosexual tea?
