Anyone remember it? I used to love it, but when I was 14 it suddenly disappeared from the UK. Thanks to a local shop who stock American groceries, I'm happy to say I've got some again, and my first sip of the stuff in 8 years was well worth the wait, it's even better tasting than I remember!
Anyone else got fond memories of Vanilla Coke?

It really is amazing stuff, cheers for the tip about having it with vodka, I wonder though, would it taste the same as regular coke with vanilla flavoured vodka? I'll find out soon enough
. I briefly remember Orange Coke, and Lime & Coke (if only for the Put-The-Lime-In-The-Coke-You-Nut advert).
Also, the shop I managed to get the vanilla coke from also do much more American stuff. I currently have the frosted s'mores flavour Pop Tarts sat on my desk, and am munching on some peanut butter M&Ms, which are a wonderful creation.

Speaking of Cherry Coke, I'm pretty certain the recipe has changed dramatically since I were a lad. I know before it tasted so little like cherry it was unreal, but I actually prefer the way it used to be. Is it just me?
I thought this as well, I used to love it. Don't really enjoy it so much now. But it was in the US I used to have it, so maybe the recipe is slightly different from here in the UK?DanB7290 said:

It's been reformulated a few times in recent years. The current American version is closer to how it used to be but it's quite a bit sweeter than the UK one as they use high fructose corn syrup to sweeten it - it's pretty close on flavour though. The UK one hasn't tasted right to me for years.I remember stocking up on a coffee flavoured Coca Cola on trips to FRance, loved the stuff but can't get it over here - was called Coca Cola Blak.
Just looked it up and its been discontinued - arse, thought I hadn't seen it for a while.

A bit like Pepsi Cino? A friend of mine raves about how good it used to be, but I never tried it and will never get to! Couldn't stand Vanilla Coke but Cheery Coke I used to drink by the pallet, great stuff..Just looked it up and its been discontinued - arse, thought I hadn't seen it for a while.

Its amazing stuff. They've just started stocking the imported stuff in Sweden too along with cheery coke and the lot. Seeing it stacked there, looking all nice and pretty on the shelf was a heavenly moment
Norway too, Vanilla Coke and A&W root beer roughly three quid a can.
Bargain ! I always manage to slip one in with the shopping.
