Ever since someone posted this Jacques Pepin Omelette clip recently I have been scouring youtube for all sorts of culinary clips. To be fair there is some dross, but many that get the taste buds flowing.
Similar to Cotty a few weeks back I guess i've lost my mojo so temporarily content to watch others get chefing. It is quite cathartic though.
Anyone uncovered some foodie gems out there in the ether?

I can vouch for lollipops they are great, I got a kilo of chicken wings to try it out and will definitely do it again.Next time I make hot wings, I'm going to try them as Jacques' 'lollipops'.

The PBS Great Chefs series. They went into working kitchens to film the masters at work.
No herky jerky spastic camera shots, no media groomed "celebrity chefs" plugging their persona or a lifestyle. The focus was the food and how it was prepared by the people who did it for a living.
Particularly interesting for me were the views behind the scenes of actual working kitchens rather than a set designed studio facsimile.
The series are available to purchase on DVD (not sure if is region coded), though they could get expensive. There are clips available on youtube, but many of them seems to be much newer productions.
The original (and best) series were broadcast in the mid 80s.
