Looks very good. Will be making a trip to Chester in the coming months for a feast!
On a side note Upstairs at the Grill is a cracking place. Had the best steak ever there.
Certainly is! I love the fact you just get a menu of cuts and sauces. Proper meat lovers paradise. Also those mahoosive machetes you get given! On a side note Upstairs at the Grill is a cracking place. Had the best steak ever there.

Full rack, was ok. The sauce was very nice but I thought the ribs themselves were a bit on the tough side.
The gf had the Pulled Pork which was very good if a little sweet.
I don't think I have ever eaten in a restaurant off a chopping board and a army ration tin. But if the food is home cooked then sounds good. The gf had the Pulled Pork which was very good if a little sweet.
We went there today off the back of this thread!
As it was our first visit, we went for the sharing platter. The food was great, we ate early so I think things had were coming straight out of cooking. The only criticism was that the sauce on the brisket was a little too vinegar-y.
We will definitely be going back, I want to try the steaks and the breakfasts.

lol @ Man vs Food! I've only just got Sky and discovered this programme. Ignoring the portion sizes, some of it looks delicious.5678 said:

BBQ seems to be one of the the most hit and miss cuisines in the UK.
Even in the US where you would expect them to have it nailed down ive had terrible BBQ along with the sublime...........mmmmmmmm bbq
